CEPiK data for the ATV market

ATV registrations in CEPiK: how to interpret ATV and UTV data

Registration data is one of the most comparable signals in the powersports market. It still requires name cleaning, model classification and careful interpretation of vehicle categories. ATV Radar performs this work so commercial teams can analyse the market without manually joining source files.

The demand picture is based on data from Poland's Central Register of Vehicles and Drivers (CEPiK), supplemented by public registers, official company sources, model prices and ATV Radar research. Our methodology explains normalisation and limitations.
01

What the registration analysis contains

The panel aggregates registrations by month, brand, model, segment and region. Users can select a month, quarter, year, trailing 12 months or the full history. Results can be split into new and used vehicles and compared with the preceding period.

02

Brand and model normalisation

The same brand or model can appear under different names in source data. Normalisation merges aliases, organises brand families and assigns models to ATV or UTV/SSV segments. Ambiguous information is flagged instead of creating false precision.

03

Registrations versus actual sales

A registration may happen at a different time than an invoice, cover a used vehicle or follow an individual import. ATV Radar therefore describes registrations as registration demand and does not automatically attribute them to company revenue. Trends are best combined with prices, network structure and model mix.

Does the data include used ATVs?

Yes. Where the classification allows it, the panel separates registrations of new and used units.

Can I analyse individual models?

Yes. Model rankings combine brand, model, segment, volume and new or used status.
